Modern Wishlist, 2006. Edition of 25.

This digitally illustrated book utilizes an accordion spine structure, wherein the cover-pleat is the spine to which pamphlet-sewn, folded fore-edge pages are attached on the mountains. Each page is numbered and contains illustrations and type explaining an item on a wish list that Shuster has been accumulating for a number of years. By now, some of the wishes have been actualized, and some remain to be completed. When opened, this book form can flatten to display the numbered list of wishes. Each number in the list is visible when the book is fully opened, displaying the visual rhythm of the sequence. The pages were inkjet-printed onto French flurry paper.
